The Ins And Outs of How We Do Business

Frequently asked questions

Carpet Cleaning

What method of cleaning do we use?

The method we use for carpet cleaning is hot water extraction, also referred to as steam cleaning. Hot water extraction method removes even the deepest and hardest to get rid of dirt and kills 99% of bacteria. Hot water and eco friendly cleaning solution are injected deep within the carpet fibers. Then, a powerful suction extracts deep-down dirt, allergens, cleaning solution and moisture. Steam cleaning method is most recommended by carpet manufacturers.

How long does it take for carpet to dry?

Drying time depends on humidity levels, airflow and the type of carpet. While it typically takes four to 24 hours for the carpet to dry, you can walk on it as soon as we are finished. We recommend to leave fans on for four to six hours to reduce the drying time.

Do you guarantee removal of all spots or stains in the carpet?

As much as we want to we cannot guarantee that we will remove all carpet spots or stains. There are substances that can permanently discolor and damage the carpet fibers, besides that the age and type of the carpet fibers play a big factor in this. The technician will try to determine if this is the case prior to cleaning but they are not always able to do so before trying to remove the spots.

Does carpet come with protection?

A protector comes on most carpet from the manufacturers. This product is removed over time with every day traffic. Carpet manufacturers recommend that you have this protector reapplied about once a year, and even more often on heavy traffic areas.

Tile & Grouts Cleaning

What method of cleaning do we use?

We scrub each individual grout line as well as tiles with professional tile and grout cleaners. We clean using high power spinner brush which scrubs and extracts all the dirt and grime embedded in the grout lines.

Why should I have my grout lines sealed?

Grout absorbs soil and spills exactly the same like carpet does. A sealant creats a protective barrier, giving you more time to clean up dirt and liquid spills before they soak into the grout.

How long do I have to stay off the floor after sealant has been applied?

We recommend that you wait an hour before walking on the floor to allow the sealant to dry. But it will take up to 24 hours for the sealant to cure completely, so we advise you to avoid any liquid coming in contact with the sealant during that time for the best result.

How often should I have my tile floor cleaned?

Foot traffic, children, pets, and routine floor maintenance will affect how often you need to have your tile and grout cleaned. We recommend to schedule a professional tile and grout cleaning at least once or twice a year.

Upholstery Cleaning

How often do manufacturers recommend professinal upholstery cleaning?

Manufacturers recommend having upholstered furniture professionally cleaned every 12 months.

What method of cleaning do we use?

The method we use for upholstery cleaning is hot water extraction. Hot water extraction method removes even the deepest and hardest to get rid of dirt and kills 99% of bacteria.

How long will it take my farniture to dry?

Typical dry time ranges from 2-8 hours.

Area Rug Cleaning

What method of cleaning do we use?

We steam clean area rugs softly and gently removing the hardest dirts, strongest alergies and 99% of bacteria for a safer and healthier home.

How long will it take my area rug to dry?

In the average home, rug left on it's own will take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours to dry.

Carpet Stretching

How to tell if your carpet needs to be stretched?

It is good practice to look carefully among the carpet fibers for any obvious signs of cuts to the base. A carpet with no cuts or damage can still require a stretching. If you look down at the carpet, it may have visible lumps and wrinkles from years of use. Lastly, you can walk around the room and observe the edges. If you see any carpet uplift at the edges or a gap between a carpet and a trim, the area will need to be stretched.

Carpet Repair

Hardwood Cleaning

What method of cleaning do we use?

Regular mopping just doesn’t reach the stubborn dirt that lies deep in the pores of your hardwood, but our hardwood floor cleaning process does. First, our technician manually removes all the visible and stubborn stains. Then, we use a high-speed rotary brush to break up tough dirt and contaminates. The final step is to apply a 1 layer of wax to seal and protect your beautiful hardwood flooring.

Do you offer any kind of sealant to protect the hardwood floor after cleaning?

Yes. First, we remove dirt with our hardwood floor cleaning process, then we'll coat your floors with 1 free layer of wax to protect and seal your flooring.

How often do you need to have your hardwood flooring professionally cleaned?

We recommend to have your floors professionally treated at least once a year to maintain health and offer protection to your hardwood flooring.
